ועד העמותה שוקל להסריט סרט נוסף שיעקוב אחר הקמת הפסל בעיר. הסיפור האמיתי של הסרט לא בהכרח יהיה הפסל, אלא דרך יצירתו נעקוב אחר מה שהיה בעבר, ומה שאיננו, דרך עיני הדורות השונים, וכן דרך עיני תושבי העיר, המבוגרים והצעירים.
לפיכך, אנו זקוקים לחומרים רבים מכל הסוגים, תמונות סרטים וכל דבר שיכול לסייע לנו. אנו גם מחפשים חברים בני הדור הראשון שיכולים לספר את שקרה שם בכל תקופה שהיא.

האסיפה השנתית של העמותה, כמו גם האזכרה השנתית נערכו ביום שלישי, 18 לחודש ספטמבר 2007 בשעה 17:45 בבית יד לבנים בתל-אביב. ביום זה הצגנו את החוברת של הפסלת יעל ארצי על הפסל המכונה "תפילה" אותו היא מתכוננת ליצור על פי הזמנת העמותה. הפסל יועמד בכיכר המרכזית בעיר מזריץ'. טקס הסרת הלוט אמור להיות במאי 2007. חברי העמותה יקבלו מכתב בנושא הנסיעה לעיר לטקס חנוכת הפסל. באזכרה שמענו את הגב' הלינה בירנבאום, בנושא "נשים בשואה" על עוצמה, הקרבה, יצירתיות ותושייה של נשים בתקופת השואה. כמו כן הופיעה הזמרת אסתי סבידנסקי במחרוזת שירים.
האזכרה הייתה חוויה בלתי נשכחת. מי שלא היה - הפסיד.
לבקשת חברים שלא נכחו בכנס, אני מציב באתר את הנאום שלא נישא - נאום אותו הכנתי לשאת בפני ראש עיריית מזריץ' בדיון על מיקום האנדרטה בעיר. הנאום שלא נישא - "באנו לתת ולא לקחת"
The yearly memorial day was held on September 18, 2007 at Yad Lebanim Building in Tel-Aviv. Halina Birenbaum presented the subject "Wemen during the Holocaust" and Esti Savidenski sang. Yael Artzi presented, with a lot of emotion, her future project named "prayer" which is going to be posted in the center square of Mezritch. All those that did not attended - missed! It was delighted.

News:
The committee of the organization had decided last thursday (Dec. 14, 2006) to choose Yael Artzi the sculptor, to built a bronze sculpture in Mezritch. We had open negotiations with the new Mayor of Mezritch and hopefully the agreement will be signed. We are looking for contributions since we estimate the cost to be close to 50000USD.
Menahen Shelef, a member of the Commitee, met with the previous mayor of Mezritch.
